Good morning, my beautiful friends! I’m excited to share I will be taking the reigns over on the @real_simple Instagram account today. Follow along as I take you on a tour of some of my favourite Parisian scenes and locations. And although I have moved back to Toronto from the city of light, I still muse about my time living in this beautiful country and all the beauty it has to offer. I know many of you are travelling across the pond this summer so I thought it would be fun to share some of my tips. As a side note . . . you should know I love working with brands and…

Hello darlings! As you may have seen over on Instagram, I’ve recently partnered with the very clever team over at Wantfolio who have just launched the new app (which you should absolutely snap up). It’s my new favourite way for capturing, organizing, and curating content I want to keep up with — it’s basically a publishing feed to keep up with my favourite blogs and news sites. Do you ever feel like there is so much good content out there, but no concise way to keep tabs on it? Wantfolio is a great hub for this. I’ve been saving away articles and images onto a few different boards: home, style, and adventure. You…

Antiquing (that’s a verb, oh yes) is one of my absolute favourite pastimes. It’s a combination of things, really: the thrill of the hunt, the idea of owning something with its own life and special story, and of course it’s the best way to find unique treasures. Life is full of all kinds of surprises – my six month stint in Paris was no exception. Just a few days before our adventure was to come to a close, I had the special honour of being invited to receive a private tour of the late Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel‘s rue Cambon apartment. This is something not many people have the opportunity to experience, and so I feel immensely honoured to not only have taken a glimpse into the home of this woman I have admired for years . . . but to also learn more about Coco and her prolific life. As a lover of design, I revel in the details. I…

It’s our last night in Paris. By all mathematical standards, this would mean that six months have passed since we traded all stability – as we knew it – in Toronto for a new home in Paris. Many unknowns, many challenges, many solutions, and many new realizations later . . .  I’m still here, I’m still me, but I am better. Throughout the adventure I’ve chronicled my adventures for (beautifully re-designed) Glitter Guide: the where, the how, and now and in the nick of time I’m sharing the why. The things in invaluable lessons I learned along the way . . . We have 360 hours left in Paris, 360 hours that will…
